Envision Horizons Review: What Is Verifiable and What You Must Test

The short answer

Envision Horizons is a New York multichannel commerce agency founded in 2017 by a former Amazon Media Group employee. It sells Amazon advertising, DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud alongside Walmart, Ulta and Chewy marketplace work. Public review volume is thin, so most of the evidence has to be built by you.

What the company actually is

The origin story is on their own site and it is a good one: in 2017 Laura Meyer left Amazon's Media Group and started the agency from her New York apartment. Chief technology officer Lindsey Gorman later built what became myHorizons, a proprietary platform the company describes as connecting retail readiness, ad performance and operations, with ASIN-level insight and market share intelligence.

The service list has widened well past advertising. Their site groups it as Amazon growth, affiliate, marketplace expansion and performance accelerators on one side, and Amazon Advertising, Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud on the other, with retail strategy, brand protection, performance creative and global marketplace expansion around them. Partner badges displayed include Amazon Ads Advanced Partner, the Amazon Seller Central Partner Network, Walmart Connect, Ulta Beauty and Chewy.

The stated entry point is a personalised 90-day growth roadmap delivered in ten business days from a contact form. That is a useful thing to ask for regardless of whether you hire them, because a roadmap is a work sample and work samples are more informative than case studies.

The review evidence, counted honestly

Here is the part most review pages skip: how much evidence actually exists.

On Clutch, the agency directory that verifies its reviews by interview, Envision Horizons carries a small number of client reviews at a high average rating, along with a stated minimum project size and a typical project range. We tried to re-verify those figures on the live profile today and could not, and one third-party snippet gives a project range materially different from the one usually quoted — so we are not printing any of them as fact. Open the profile yourself and read the current numbers off it. Company size is listed in the 50-249 band with headquarters in New York.

A handful of reviews is a small sample. That is not a criticism — most agencies at this size have thin directory volume, because clients rarely bother and the sales cycle does not run through directories. It simply means the score is close to meaningless as a statistical signal and quite useful as a source of names to call. Meanwhile the aggregator sites that award agencies numerical scores out of a hundred are largely reprocessing the agency's own published copy, so treat those as directory listings rather than assessments.

The practical consequence: the evidence you will actually decide on is the evidence you generate. Two reference calls with brands in your category and spend band will tell you more than every rating on the internet combined.

Where their positioning is genuinely differentiated

Two things stand out, and both are real.

The first is multichannel breadth. Amazon plus Walmart, Ulta and Chewy is a different proposition from an Amazon-only shop, and it matters if your next two years involve adding retailers rather than adding display budget. Retailer onboarding, content requirements and ad products differ enough between those platforms that having one team who has already done each is worth paying for.

The second is that they built software rather than renting it. myHorizons is positioned as the connective layer between retail readiness and advertising — which is the correct place to look, because out-of-stock lines, suppressed listings and thin content quietly destroy more advertising performance than bid strategy ever will. An agency that instruments that link is thinking about the right problem.

Who they suit better than us, stated plainly: brands who want one partner across several retailers, covering listings, operations, affiliate and advertising together. We do not do that job. Our group does, but reMKTR itself is narrower on purpose.

How to test display depth on one call

Every full-service agency lists Amazon DSP. The list tells you nothing, because the range of what sits behind that line is enormous. Six questions separate depth from a service page — and they are fair to ask us too.

  • Whose seat will my campaigns run on, and how many advertisers sit on it? Seat ownership decides what happens to your history if you leave.
  • Do I get my own Amazon Marketing Cloud instance, and who writes the queries? An instance nobody queries is a licence, not a capability.
  • Describe the last incrementality test you ran. What was held out, for how long, and what did you do when the result was disappointing?
  • How often does creative rotate, and what triggers a rotation? A date, a frequency threshold, or a performance rule — any of the three beats nobody watching.
  • What is the smallest display budget you will take, and why? Amazon states its own managed-service option typically requires a minimum investment of USD 50,000; agencies with their own seats can go below that, and the answer tells you where you sit in their book.
  • What proportion of display-attributed revenue in a comparable account was also claimed by sponsored ads? Anyone who has reconciled the two channels can answer immediately.

What we would want you to ask us

Since this page argues for a shortlist that includes us, here is our own evidence in the same format.

reMKTR buys Amazon DSP — the demand-side platform, not the Delivery Service Partner courier franchise — as a managed service on our own seats. We are part of Full Circle, a full-service Amazon management company with $500M+ in managed spend across 100+ brands, and we hold 109 live Amazon DSP advertiser seats. That last figure is a seat count, not a client count, and it is the thing that lets us take display budgets below Amazon's own managed-service threshold.

Across 30 of those advertisers in July 2026 the book returned 6.04x on ad spend — measured across the whole set rather than the best campaign in it — from 78.4 million impressions at a $4.00 CPM and a blended $1.42 cost per click, with a $5.49 cost per acquisition on 57,137 attributed purchases and 20.1% of those purchases from shoppers new to the brand.

The standard underneath: last-click attribution cannot prove incrementality and never could. Holdouts and matched controls can. We reconcile in Amazon Marketing Cloud, where DSP and sponsored ads stop double-counting each other. Ask us the six questions above and hold our answers to the same bar as anyone else's.

Two honest redirects rather than a pitch. Dr. PPC is the better fit when the problem is sponsored ads — search waste, bid structure, wasted match types — and it publishes its price, $300/month plus 3% of ad spend, capped, month to month. Dr. DSP is the better fit when you want display capability as a product your team operates, with the first 30 days free.

Who they genuinely suit, and who should look elsewhere

Envision Horizons suits mid-market and premium brands who want a single partner across several retail platforms, with software instrumenting the link between listing health and advertising, and a founder-led culture that came out of Amazon itself. If your roadmap for next year reads “launch on two more retailers and tidy up the catalogue”, that is a strong fit.

They will fit less well if you already have a competent internal team on listings and operations and your only real question is whether a seven-figure display budget is producing incremental sales. That is a specialist brief, and specialists — us or anyone else — should be able to answer it faster.

Whichever way you go, decide on evidence you generated: a work sample, two reference calls in your category, and one clear answer about how incrementality gets measured.

Which one you should actually pick

Envision Horizons suits mid-market and premium brands adding retailers, wanting listings, operations and advertising handled by one founder-led team with its own software. Its public review volume is thin, so generate your own evidence. reMKTR suits brands whose question is narrower: whether a display budget is adding orders, proved against a holdout rather than a dashboard.

What to do with this

Judge this on the job you actually need done, not the feature list. Pull your own search-term report for the last 90 days and total the spend against terms that produced no orders — on the account above that was 33.6% of everything spent. Then ask whether the thing you are about to buy closes that gap, or just shows it to you.

Common questions

Is Envision Horizons an Amazon-only agency?

No. Amazon is the centre of gravity, but their published service set covers Walmart, Ulta and Chewy marketplaces, affiliate, brand protection and global marketplace expansion. If you need one team across several retailers, that breadth is the reason to talk to them.

How many client reviews does Envision Horizons have?

A small number of verified reviews on Clutch at a high average rating. We could not re-verify the exact count and score on the live profile today, so open it and read them off yourself. Either way it is a small sample by any standard, which is normal for agencies of this size and simply means the rating cannot carry your decision. Use the reviews to find reference calls instead.

Does Envision Horizons run Amazon DSP?

Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud both appear as named services on their site. The useful follow-up is depth rather than availability: whose seat, whose clean-room instance, who writes the queries, and what the last holdout test actually showed.

What does an Amazon agency of this size typically cost?

Nothing is published on their site. Clutch lists a minimum project size and a typical project range drawn from the reviews on file, which is a directional signal rather than a rate card. Expect a scoped proposal built from a retainer, a percentage of media, or both, and ask whether your stated budget is inclusive of fees.

How do I check any agency's display capability in one call?

Ask them to describe a test they ran that failed. Capable teams answer immediately, with the design, the read and what they changed. Teams whose display practice is a service page will move the conversation back to case studies and platform features within about a minute.

We show the method before the number.
